This is an English translation for informational purposes. The original French document (Conditions générales d'utilisation) is the legally authoritative version and governs all obligations and rights under French law.
These terms of use (ToU) govern access to and use of the GARMIN IMG FORGE site (imgforge.garmin.allfabox.fr), published by Fabien ALLAMANCHE (allfab) as a personal open source project.
By accessing the site, you accept these ToU in their entirety.
1. Access to the site¶
The site is accessible free of charge, without registration or account creation. The publisher reserves the right to modify, suspend or interrupt access to the site at any time, without notice, in particular for maintenance or update reasons.
2. Map downloads¶
The Garmin topographic maps available for download are provided free of charge, produced from open data (IGN BD TOPO, Etalab 2.0 license).

Maps are provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. They must not be used as a navigation aid in dangerous conditions (high mountain climbing, maritime navigation, etc.).
3. Intellectual property¶
Documentation and editorial content¶
The site content (texts, screenshots, diagrams, documentation) is made available under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Any reuse must mention the author (Fabien ALLAMANCHE / allfab) and retain the same license.

The project's software tools are distributed as open source:

4. Liability¶
The publisher cannot be held responsible for:
- errors or omissions in the site content or maps;
- direct or indirect damages related to the use of downloaded maps;
- service interruptions or site unavailability;
- the content of third-party sites accessible via hyperlinks from this site.
5. User conduct¶
By using this site, you agree to:
- not attempt to access non-public parts of the site or its infrastructure;
- not use automated means (bots, scrapers) to massively download maps without prior agreement;
- not distribute illegal content via the comment system.
6. Personal data¶
The processing of personal data is described in the Legal Notice.
7. Amendment of the ToU¶
The publisher reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time. Modifications take effect upon their publication on this page. It is the user's responsibility to consult them regularly.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction¶
These ToU are subject to French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
